#FF [1] - links + some awesome stuff

So, here we go. My very first Follow Friday (aka #FF hashtag on twitter) post, that will (obviously) be posted on every Friday with some interesting links to movie blogs I've read through the week. I'll also try to include as much information as possible about the news in movie & TV industry.

>> Sneak peak of Meleficent premiered on Tuesday, introducing some very beautiful scenes, Angelina Jolie's fascinating performance and Lana Del Ray's another masterpiece soundtrack

>> HBO released Game of Thrones season 4 stills and once again reminded us how much we can't wait until April 6.

>> Showtime has shifted release date for it's upcoming horror, psychological TV series Penny Dreadful, which features history's most terrifying characters, like Dr. Frankestein, Dorian Gray and many others. This all-star cast looks amazing:

>> SOME BLOGS I READ

ChrisSati & Mark review Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street

Nathaniel R. shares reviews of Sundance movies and masterfully discuss Maleficent's new trailers

Dan from DTMMR reviews Kate Winslet's Golden Globe nominee film Labor Day.

Stevee Taylor discusses American Hustle

Ben Russel from The Movie Man introduces Top 10 Leading Actor & Leading Actress Performances of the Last Decade.

Shala explores Sundance in pictures.

Alex Withrow writes up a very interesting film essay about David Fincher and his masterful film-making

>> HAPPENING ON THE INTERNET

Fitz and the Tantrums Perform 'The Walker' at Ellen's show. To remind you, this is a song used in Oscars official trailer, starring DeGeneres herself.

Meryl Streep proves (as if she needs) that she can make everything sound more interesting.

AMPAS disqualified song Alone Yet Not Alone from respective nomination due to the fact that Bruce Broughton, a former Governor and current Music Branch executive committee member, had emailed members of the branch to make them aware of his submission during the nominations voting period. And Scott Feinberg from The Hollywood Reporter discusses whether it was justified or not.
