Most Promising New TV-Series of 2012-2013

In my previous post -Top TV Series You Should Expect in 2012-2013 I reviewed earlier aired shows which premiere new seasons during upcoming months. Now I'' check out some fresh series that are being premiered very shortly and tend to be pretty interesting.

Arrow (2012)

The pilot will be aired on October 10, 2012.

This series is based on Green Arrow, a fictional super-hero, who appears in comic book published by DC Comics. The show tells a story of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen who was missing during five years and considered dead. After the comeback he shortly renews relationships with ex-friends, girlfriends and family but there is something he's hiding about what happened on the island, he was discovered on.

Elementary (2012)

Another Sherlock Holmes, and another MODERN Sherlock Holmes. This is a contemporary version of widely adapted detective and American attempt to surpass BBC's all-time best Sherlock. Mr. Holmes is played by Jonny Lee Miller and Mrs Watson (and Yes, Dr Watson is a woman named Joan) by Lucy Liu

Pilot has been aired on September 27, 2012, next series will be on Oct. 4, 2012. I'm really keen on seeing this show. I'm pretty sure it won't prevail Sherlock, but still it would be interesting to see "American" Holmes.

Go On (2012)

Go On is new american comedy sitcom starring Mathew Perry as Ryan King, a man trying to move on after the loss of his wife. Ryan decides to attend therapy sessions to resist the stress. There he finds a solace form great unknown people.

Arrested Development (2003)

Number 5 highest rated TV Show of all time, Arrested Development has been cancelled in 2006 after shooting complete 3 seasons despite its huge popularity.

Arrested Development centers on Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) as he handles his spoiled, dysfunctional family in an attempt to maintain normality. The comedy is presented in a continuous format, spliced with handheld cameras, stock historical footage and archival photos, and narration by Ron Howard.

The rumors have been saying that producers are going to renew a cult series since 2008, but none of the  original cast confirmed the gossips. But recently Hurwitz has publicized this official statement on the forthcoming film:

“I will give you this spoiler alert [about the Bluths]: They fuck everything up."
If it's so, Arrested Development can be the most popular and probably best comedy show of next year. Fourth season will be aired in 2013.
