17 most anticipated films in 2015

2015 started with big hopes for big movies. Actually, every year starts the same way: me wanting to find the movie I'll fall in love. This year, there was one Gone Girl, last year it was Rush, before that Les Miserables and Cloud Atlas. This amazing journey always starts with anticipation and here are my 17 most anticipated films this year:

Directed by: Wes Ball | Cast: Dylan O'Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Nathalie Emmanuel
I am a non reader of Maze Runner series, but when I saw the Maze Runner, I got really excited for the second one, mostly because of cast and the adventure nature of film. Can't wait for the second and third one too. Hope they are at least as good as the first one.

Directed by: Craig Zobel | Cast: Margot Robbie, Chris Pine, Chiwetel Ejiofor
I knew nothing about Z for Zachariah before Sundance tweets and it mostly grabbed my attention because of three actors cast all of whom I love very much: Margot Robbie, Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Can you imagine a love triangle between them? And it's kind of post-apocalyptic movie. So, why not.

Directed by: Peyton Reed | Cast: Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas
People got excited for Ant-Man for two reasons: Marvel on the cover and Rudd's sixpacks. I personally can't wait to see Evangeline Lilly on the screen. I've been her fan since Lost and I have this unhealthy attraction to every character she plays. So. basically that's it.

Directed by: Brad Peyton | Cast: Archie Panjabi, Colton Haynes, Paul Gimatti, Dwayne Johnson
I love disaster movies. I love them so much that I even liked 2012 and San Andreas trailer looks epic. I can watch ruining building and cities for hours and I find it fun (please, don't judge me). Also, Panjabi and Haynes in the cast means something for me, even though I HATE Dwayne Johnson. Hope he does not ruin my watching experience.

Directed by: Justin Kelly | Cast: Zachary Quinto, James Franco, Emma Roberts, Avan Jogia
Two names are important here: Zachary Quinto as one of my favorite actors of all time, and James Franco, who has been actively involved in LGBT films lately. And also, how excited he seems about this film.

Directed by: Kenneth Branagh | Cast: Lily James, Helena B. Carter, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden
Stellan Skarsgård
What a cast, right? Cinderella's trailer made my top ten list this year. So, no wonder it's on my can't wait list. But except that, Helena Bonham Carter is in it. That should be enough reason to watch any damn movie. I also find John Snow's casting as Prince Charming quite charming.

Directed by: Todd Haynes | Cast: Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Sarah Paulson
Carol seems to be such a strong movie for good actresses. Directed by Oscar nominee writer of Far From Heaven, looks like a very interesting choice to watch something in 2015.

Directed by: David O. Russel | Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro
O'Russel brings Lawrence and Russel for the third time and how can someone not be excited about this?

Directed by: Jodie Foster | Cast: Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Jack O' Connell
So, basically, you can write Julia Robert's name on anything and I'll buy it and especially if it's directed by Jodie Foster, with Clooney and this year's newcomer Jack O'Connell, who was brilliant in Unbroken.

Directed by: Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin | Cast: Bunch of minions
It does not need much explanation, I love animations and I love minions, those funniest yellow creatures. I hope a movie dedicated solely to them will be hilarious and make me laugh tears once again.

Directed by: Alejandro González Iñárritu | Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Will Poulter
So, this years my favorite director Iñárritu returns with a story of Hugh Glass with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead. Most important question in my mind right now is Will Leo finally get the Oscar? Or this is gonna be his another role. Anyways, I hope Ajexandro G. does plus one amazing film that will be a tremendous movie-going experience for me.

Directed by: Gregory Jacobs | Cast: Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Elisabeth Banks, Joe Manganiello
The first Magic Mike brought a lot success to its actors and especially Matthew McConaughey who can consider that Dallas made him both, audience and critics darling. The XXL has some new additions and hope it's no less fun than the previous.

Directed by: Pete Docter | Cast: Amy Poehler, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader
Peter Docter has made Pixar's best animations and Pixar is the Marvel of animation industry. From the very first teaser Inside Out looks so original, funny and interesting, I really hope it turns out as good as it is now.

Directed by: Guillermo del Toro | Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam
Mia Wasikowska
Crimson Peak makes me extremely excited for so many reasons. First of all, casting of Chastain and Hiddleston. Second of all, it's a horror movie and finally, the name of Guillermo Del Toro gives me a hope that it will be brilliant.

Directed by: Joss Whedon | Cast: you know who
Avengers is Marvel's one of the best superhero movies, because it brings together all favorite gods and humans. The fist trailer of Agen of Ultron looks epic with massive battle scenes and everything we love about Marvel's films.

Directed by: Colin Trevorrow | Cast: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard
I've never seen Jurassic Park on the big screen, I always wanted though. Spielberg's first movie was phenomenal and the trailer of Trevorrow's film gives a hope that it's at least entertaining and scary. Fingers crossed for Pratt and Howard, who is one of my favorite gingers in Hollywood.

Directed by: J.J. Abrams | Cast: Harrison Ford, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie
I am one of few people who have not seen any installment of Star Wars series, but I promise I'll see before the 7th comes out. The teaser just gave me goosebumps, because you can not just listen to John William's score, which is definitely a classic. Also, J.J. Abrams being new George Lucas is good news for me,  I think anything he touches becomes a masterpiece of genre. So, let's just pray for Star Wards: Episode VII to be the best of 7 movies.

What are some films you can't wait to watch this year?
